Kitchen Remodeling in Austin – With Expert Storage Solutions

In 2022, we were invited back for a complete kitchen renovation, building on the trust we established during their 2018 master bathroom remodel. This stunning kitchen has a modern feel with a touch of farmhouse charm.

Feature-Rich Modern Farmhouse Kitchen

This kitchen renovation showcases wall-to-wall pantry cabinets with a hidden espresso bar, providing exceptional storage and functionality. Our client chose a stylish two-tone design with white upper cabinets and blue lower cabinets, which complement the quartz countertops and beautiful backsplash. Additionally, the oversized baker’s island comfortably seats four, illuminated by four classic pendant lights. Completing the space is a built-in double oven, induction cooktop, modern vent hood, farmhouse sink, and porcelain wood-look tile — a timeless combination that checks every box.

Modern Kitchen Remodel in Lago, Vista, TX

We delivered a whole-home renovation that included this spacious open-concept kitchen and an amazing master bathroom. This kitchen is equipped with all the modern features our clients and homeowners alike are looking for — detailed below.

Beautiful Open-Concept Kitchen

To begin, we renovated the entire upper half of the home — including the master bathroom, guest bathroom, flooring, and stairs. The kitchen features shaker-style, hard-maple painted cabinets topped with leather-finished engineered stone. Additionally, we installed under-cabinet LED lighting to brighten the workspace. The built-in oven pairs nicely with the nearby glass cooktop, and our clients loved the backsplash — especially how it flows around the vent hood. We chose a darker color to accent the kitchen island and selected a single large pendant light to top it off. Furthermore, we installed 7″×42″ porcelain wood-look tile throughout the second floor, including the master & guest bathrooms. Overall, the project took approximately 10 weeks to complete, and the results are truly stunning. To explore the primary bathroom, visit our Bathroom Remodeling page.

Planning, Design & Proposal

  • Planning & Design: In most cases we work with a designer that can provide a detailed drawing so you can see the transformation on paper before we begin. In some cases there won’t be a need for the extra cost of a designer because we will design and plan it together with you personally. Remember, a good plan means great results!
  • Structural changes: Additionally, moving walls or opening up the space for that open-concept design may be required. We use a structural engineer if there is any doubt about structural integrity. The cost for an engineer ranges from $500 to $1,000, depending on the size of the home and the scope of the project.
  • Proposal: Finally, once all the details for the project are finalized, we will schedule a time to meet at the project site to take measurements and several photos. We will then take all the information and put together a comprehensive proposal. Our estimates always include a very detailed material list as well, so that you know what the entire job is projected to cost in materials and labor.
