Our firm is about people. That is our motto and that will always be our reality.
We do our best to get to know our clients, understand their situations, and get them the compensation they deserve.
At TorHoerman Law, we believe that if we continue to focus on the people that we represent, and continue to be true to the people that we are – justice will always be served.
Without our team, we would’nt be able to provide our clients with anything close to the level of service they receive when they work with us.
The TorHoerman Law Team commits to the sincere belief that those injured by the misconduct of others, especially large corporate profit mongers, deserve justice for their injuries.
Our team is what has made TorHoerman Law a very special place since 2009.
Two wrongful death and serious injury lawsuits filed in Cobb County Superior Court are drawing attention to a pattern of preventable heavy equipment injuries at metro Atlanta worksites.
TorHoerman Law partner Alan Holcomb represents both families.

In Reyes Barrios v. Tag Grinding Services, Inc. et al., the family filed a wrongful death lawsuit after the 44-year-old was killed at a Marietta, Georgia vegetative waste recycling facility last July.
The complaint alleges an excavator operator lifted a debris pile without confirming the area was clear, trapping Reyes Barrios beneath it as he was untying a bundle of tree products to dispose of into a pit.
The suit names Tag Grinding Services, Inc. and Big Gulley, LLC as defendants.
In Gonzalez Valle v. MF Granite LLC et al., the family filed suit after a forklift tipped over on 20-year-old Gonzalez Valle at a Mableton granite fabrication facility last December.
Gonzalez Valle survived but sustained extensive injuries and is now legally incapacitated.
The complaint names MF Granite LLC and AC Granite Service LLC, alleging the tip-over was entirely preventable under basic stone-handling safety standards.
The cases are part of a broader pattern: according to a U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics report released in March of this year, 170 workers died from occupational injuries in Georgia in 2024, with 40 of those deaths involving contact with objects or equipment.
At TorHoerman Law, we represent victims of injustice and are committed to holding those responsible for preventable workplace tragedies accountable.
Coverage of the filings has appeared in Univision, Atlanta News First, and the Marietta Daily Journal.

I was in a car accident and went to the Personal Injury Team at TorHoerman Law. I met with Kristie Stephens and she was awesome, keeping me informed of what was going on, what to expect and not to hesitate to call if I need any questions answered. The staff I came in contact over the phone was Kristine Stephens, and she guided me through the whole process. I suggest the Personal Injury Team at TorHoerman Law for anybody that needs help with legal action.
