It happened Thursday evening on North Clark Street

CHICAGO, IL – One person suffered incapacitating injuries as a result of a pedestrian collision Thursday evening in north Chicago’s Rogers Park neighborhood, according to the Chicago Police Department.

The incident was reported at 6655 North Clark Street, near West North Shore Avenue, at about 7:07 p.m.

Preliminary details indicate at least three people were in a vehicle that was involved in a crash involving a pedestrian.

Officials said one person was seriously hurt, but the crash report does not immediately identify that person as the pedestrian.

No other injuries were reported.

The crash report also shows that the accident happened in a 30 mph zone and caused over $1,500 in property damage.
