Failure-to-yield was a contributing factor behind crash, MSHP confirms

ARNOLD, MO – Three people were injured as a result of a multi-vehicle collision that took place on North MO-141 along East Outer Road last Monday, June 1.

Missouri Highway Patrol reported the crash at 4:38 p.m. They determined a 61-year-old man, driving a 2012 Ford Fiesta, failed to yield to oncoming traffic and then collided with a 2024 Chevrolet Blazer driven by a 45-year-old woman from Arnold.

The Ford was struck on its right side and overturned as a result. The Ford driver, from Fredericktown, and the Chevrolet passenger, a 25-year-old woman, from Arnold, sustained minor injuries, while the Chevrolet driver suffered moderate injuries.

The three aforementioned individuals were all of the occupants involved in the crash. Rock Township Ambulance District transported them to Mercy Hospital for treatment.

MSHP did not say if they cited the 61-year-old man.
