ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO – Authorities responded to a fatal collision Thursday night near Creve Coeur that claimed at least one life, according to FOX 20.

The wreck took place on the northbound side of Interstate 270 at Missouri State Route 364. A stretch of the highway was shut down during the emergency response, but by 10:00 p.m., all travel lanes were reopened to traffic.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol has confirmed at least one death following the incident, but no information regarding the circumstances of the incident has been disclosed.

Motorists were advised of delays in the area as traffic was being onto Olive Boulevard. A prior crash involving an overturned vehicle also contributed to the backup.
