Minor injuries reported in hit-and-run at Gustine Ave. and Itaska St.

ST. LOUIS, MO – A hit-and-run driver crashed into a light pole and a 2008 red Hyundai Santa Fe, leaving a 42-year-old woman with minor injuries Tuesday.

St. Louis Metropolitan Police said an unknown driver struck the Hyundai off Gustine Avenue and Itaska Street around 12:20 a.m. before fleeing the scene. Police arrived at the crash site at 12:30 a.m. They identified the 42-year-old woman as Lola Lutz, stating she was the Hyundai driver.

Officers are working to determine what the hit-and-run suspect and their vehicle looked like.
