2 pickup truck drivers uninjured following 3-vehicle crash

ST. LOUIS, MO – Mehlville EMS crews transported a 21-year-old St. Louis man to Mercy Hospital South after a rear-end crash on I-270 reported before 10:15 p.m. Sunday.

Missouri Highway Patrol said the St. Louis man, driving a 2015 Chevrolet Cruze, had first rear-ended a 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck with his car. The pickup truck was pushed forward and hit a third pickup truck: a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck.

The Chevrolet truck then struck the Chevrolet Cruze car.

The St. Louis man suffered moderate injuries, while the pickup truck drivers were uninjured.

The pickup truck drivers wore seatbelts, while the 21-year-old did not.
