The two were hospitalized after crash north of Laurel Acres Mobile Home

HIGH RIDGE, MO – A man and woman were seriously hurt as a result of a two-car crash in High Ridge on Thursday.

Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the crash at 6:54 a.m., saying it happened at the intersection of Antire Road and Antire Valley Lane.

Preliminary details show that a 53-year-old man from Brynesmill was traveling north on Antire Road, went over into the southbound lane, and crashed his 2015 Chrysler Town & Country car into the front of a 2013 Chevrolet Cruze.

The Chevrolet Cruze rotated counterclockwise, went down a hill, and crashed into a tree.

The Chevrolet Cruze driver, a 72-year-old woman from High Ridge, and the 53-year-old man were both seriously injured. North Jefferson County EMS transported them to Mercy Hospital South for treatment.

MSHP confirmed both drivers wore seatbelts and were the sole occupants of their vehicles.
