MSHP reports injuries to be minor

PLATTIN TWP, MO – A woman was sent to the hospital yesterday morning after being rear-ended by another driver on Montauk Drive near U.S.-67.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that at about 8:30 a.m., the a 2020 Dodge Ram 1500 hit a 2017 Mazda2 that was stopped on the roadway.

Emergency responders with Joachim Plattin Ambulance District took the Mazda’s driver to Mercy Hospital Jefferson. Her injuries are said to be minor.

It is not clear from the report which driver was to blame for the crash.
