Man, 43, hospitalized after crash at West Highway N & Highway T

FORISTELL, MO – A stop sign runner was to blame for a multi-vehicle injury crash in Foristell on Wednesday, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Troopers said the collision occurred after 10 a.m. at the intersection of West Highway N and Highway T. They said an 82-year-old woman from Pacific, had run a stop sign, and crashed her 2021 Ram 1500 pickup truck into the front left side of a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado.

The impact of the crash caused the 82-year-old woman to proceed through the intersection, cross a center line, and then crash head-on into a 2009 GMC Yukon.

The 82-year-old woman and the GMC driver, a 54-year-old man from Wentzville, were uninjured, while the Ram driver sustained minor injuries.

St. Charles County Ambulance District was summoned to the scene and rushed the Ram driver, a 43-year-old man from Montgomery City, to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital.

MSHP said all drivers were the sole occupants of their vehicle, and said the two male drivers wore their seatbelts, while the 82-year-old woman did not.

MSHP did not say if they cited the 82-year-old woman nor confirmed whether criminal charges were filed against her.
