Hit-and-run drivers crash into Ford Bronco on I-70 East

ST. PETERS, MO – A 40-year-old woman sustained moderate injuries in a hit-and-run crash that happened along 360 Lakeside Park last Monday.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at 2:35 p.m. on I-70 East. Preliminary details show that one driver, operating an unknown vehicle, had crashed into tire debris. The tire debris then hit an oncoming vehicle, a 2024 Ford Bronco.

The Ford Bronco was then struck by another oncoming vehicle. The drivers of those oncoming vehicles then fled the scene.

The Ford driver, a 40-year-old woman from St. Louis, was left with moderate injuries. St. Charles County Ambulance District transported the 40-year-old woman to Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital.

Troopers have not released a description of the suspect or said what vehicles they were driving.
