Crash happened near Lindberg Blvd., MSHP says

ST. LOUIS, MO – A 51-year-old woman was sent to the hospital following a rear-end collision on Interstate 270, west of Lindberg Boulevard, on Monday.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the incident unfolded before 10:30 p.m., when the 51-year-old woman, driving a 2026 Chevrolet Traverse, crashed into the back of a 2020 Ford Fusion.

The two cars came to rest in the same lane, facing east. The Ford driver, a 28-year-old woman, was uninjured, while the 51-year-old woman sustained minor injuries.

Robertson EMS transported the 51-year-old woman to SSM Health DePaul Hospital for treatment.

MSHP confirmed both female drivers wore their seatbelts, were the sole occupants of their vehicles, and happened to be St. Louis locals.

MSHP did not say if they cited the 51-year-old woman for her involvement in the crash or said what caused her to rear-end the Fusion.
