Westbound truck came into eastbound MO-PP & struck the woman's car, MSHP says

HIGH RIDGE, MO – A 67-year-old woman had to go to the hospital as a result of a two-vehicle collision on MO-PP on Thursday.

The crash happened before 7 p.m. The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a 41-year-old man, driving a 2013 Ram 1500 pickup truck, was traveling west on the highway when he veered into the eastbound lane and collided with a 2015 Mazda CX5 car.

The Mazda driver, a 67-year-old woman from Byrnes Mill, sustained moderate injuries. North Jefferson County Ambulance District transported her to Mercy Hospital South for treatment.

MHSP did not say what caused the 41-year-old man, from Fenton, to lose control of his vehicle, nor did they say if they cited him.
