Two-vehicle crash happened south of Union Road

ST. LOUIS, MO – A woman was injured this morning when she collided with the back of a vehicle that had slowed for traffic on NB I-55 south of Union Road.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 51-year-old woman driving a Honda Civic failed to pay adequate attention to the changing road conditions, causing her to rear-end a 2021 Jeep Wrangler that had slowed for traffic.

Emergency responders with Affton Fire Protection District transported her to Mercy Hospital South, where she received treatment for minor injuries.

No one in the other vehicle appears to have been hurt.
