ST. LOUIS, MO – A wrong-way driver caused a collision on I-270 near North Lindbergh Boulevard in the early hours of Sunday morning, Fox 2 Now reports.

Fortunately, no one was seriously injured.

Authorities say the crash happened at about 1:35 a.m. on May 24, when an eastbound 2025 GMC Sierra crossed into the westbound lanes and hit a Volvo semi-truck.

Emergency responders took the 43-year-old driver of the Sierra to Mercy Hospital St. Louis. He was lucky to escape with only minor injuries.

The semi’s driver was not hurt.
